The beautiful gilded antique mirror with crest presented here, dating from the mid-19th century is crafted from carved and gilded wood.

The antique mirror is richly decorated, featuring a crest with an intertwined laurel garland and a central medallion with a coat

of arms or heraldic motif; on the sides, hanging floral bouquets and festoonsFrench origin.

At the bottom, another medallion or cartouche bears an engraved monogram (“A” and “R”). Laurel garlands symbolize glory,

triumph, and honor—typical elements of the neoclassical style. The frame has an original high-quality gilding.

It also has an original beveled antique mirror, authentic and slightly imperfect due to the natural wear caused by age.

The mirror shows signs of oxidation and small black dots—typical of antique glass—attesting to its authenticity and age.

The gold leaf frame gives the antique mirror an elegant and precious appearance. Original gilding from the 19th century.

This is a mirror from the mid-1800s, carefully and professionally restored, ready to be hung at home.

The mirror, with its age-related imperfections, and its back panel are both authentic and contemporaneous.
