Signed lower right Constantin Font, French painter who painted mainly nudes of women,
landscapes, seascapes and still life paintings. Constantin Font (1890-1954) was born in Auch,
his master was Fernand Cormon. He received many medals including a gold medal in1922,
a silver medal in 1921, he regularly exhibited at the 'Salon Des Artistes Français'
in Paris and was awarded the important 'Prix De Rome' in 1921.
This is an old painting from the Bisgart Collection of 20th century Art Deco painters.
The painting and the frame have been professionally restored.
The oil on canvas painting dates back to the twentieth Century and it is an artwork
