Little Girl With Little Goat made in the early twentieth century. Original 20th Century patina. 

The playful work is signed Ary Bitter on the base. Period Twenties / Thirties of the twentieth century. Art Deco.

Ary Jean Léon Bitter (1883-1973) french sculptor, born in Marseille, was a sculptor of small sculptures and mythological subjects, nudes, animals.

Designer, painter and sculptor who used many materials plaster, stone, terracotta and bronze. Pupil of Jules Coutant.

He exhibited at the "Salon des Artistes Français" from 1910 to 1939, obtaining many medals and awards.

In 1910, his child sculpture with Capretta "l'Enfant au chevreau" received an "honorable mention" and won the "Chenavard" prize.

In 1937 he received a gold medal "at the Exposition International".

So, we can consider that this Art Déco Sculpture, Terracotta, Girl With Little Goat , 20th Century a beautifull statue.
