Flowers artwork, Antique oil painting, floral vase painting which represents Bouquet of Peonies, Poppies and Cherries, 19th Century.

It also has a gold leaf  frame, XIX century. It is a still life of flowers with a beautiful glass vase.

The painting on canvas is signed lower left C. Van Mulders (XIX-XX), Belgian painter.

Camille Van Mulders (1868-1949), was born in Brussels and studied with the Belgian painters Hubert Bellis and Jean-François Portaels.

He dedicates himself to painting floral still lifes, exhibiting his works of art at the "Woman's Building"

and at the Palace of Fine Arts at the World's Columbian Exposition in 1893 in Chicago, Illinois. 

The antique painting and the gilded frame in pure gold leaf are restored.

The oil on canvas painting dates back to the late nineteenth Century and it takes part of Bisgart Collection of Antique Paintings of the 19th Century.
