The  Two  Greyhound Dogs Sculpture is made of bronze from the 1800s.

Original 19th Century patina. The work expresses elegance and physical agility. Signed Pierre-Jules MÈNE (1810-1879).

Pierre-Jules MÈNE was born on March 25, 1810 in Paris and died in 1879 always in Paris.

A pupil of René Compaire, he participated in the Salon de Paris from 1838 to 1879.

During his career he received numerous awards and medals, in 1852 and in 1861 he received the first class medal.

Sculptures of animals and groups of animals. In addition, many of his works are found in various museums.
