This is a portrait artwork of a Small DogPortraits of Dogs proposes small painting, a Watercolour on paper with

the portrait of a Black Poodle dog, late 19th century. It is a pleasant portrait of a small

dog, a black-haired poodle carrying a small umbrella with a duck's head in its mouth.

Antique painting late 19th century. This oil painting has an original golden frame. 

The old painting, XIX Century, is signed bottom right De Condamy (1855-1913) French painter

of sports subjects, genre, animal portraits. 

Charles Fernand De Condamy (1855-1913) was a pupil of Barias and specialised in the

depiction of dogs. He created the famous magazine 'La Voix de son Maître'. He participated in the

'Salon de Paris' from 1878 to 1881.

The Old Master Painting and the frame have been carefully and professionally restored.
