This is a Marine Oil Painting, which represents a Marina with Atlantic Coast, the North Sea, The Ocean. 

The work represents a glimpse of a rocky coastline typical of Northern France, Normandy or Brittany.

The 20th century painting is signed at the bottom right by P. Esnoul, french painter of landscape and marine paintings.

Esnoul Paul (1882-1960) was born in Rennes, took part in many exhibitions in Paris and exhibited many times at the

'Salon Des Indépendants' and the 'Salon d'Hiver'.

He became a member of the 'Sociétaire des Artistes Françaises'. Esnoul loves nature and especially Brittany, 

its islands, its villages and its shepherds. The works of this painter are kept in the Rennes museum.
