The Bust Of Child Sculpture is made of Carrara Marble from the late 1800s, XIX Century.

The statue in white Carrara Marble, bears a signature on the base of the Italian sculptor Pugi.

Guglielmo Pugi (1850-1915), born in Tuscany in Fiesole, works in Florence where he has his studio-atelier.

Many works created by the sculptor were made for the foreign market, especially towards the United States,

In fact, in 1901 he participated in the Buffalo Fair in New York and in 1904 in Missouri at the Exposition Universelle.

Then the, Marble Carrara Sculptures, Bust of a Laughing Child, Statue of a Boy, Late Nineteenth Century, Signed Guglielmo Pugi,

is added and enriches the Italian Bisgart Collection.

Original 19th Century patina.
